MAILMAP

An envelope to draw its movement from sender to receiver, a small exploration in movement mapping.

All that can be said with words may instantaneously be spoken over the phone or sent through the internet. What gesture is made when something physical moves from one hand to another?

Starting from sketches drawn between the New York metrostops, the final version allowed for an A4 and Letter size to be sent within the weight and size restrictions of a 'letterbox package'
