Arguably one of our most vital 'social' structures is often hidden out of sight and out of mind. Yet through this same system, large communities are connected in some of our most private moments.

A look at the sewage plants in the Dommel and Aa showed a diversity in processes where the only true consistent was the odor extraction. But those same structure hidden away appeared impressive in scale and gesture.
